- Qualified for Centre for Talented Youth Ireland (CTYI) summer programme
- 95th percentile nationally
- Qualified for Early Research and Projects Network (ERPN) at DCU university.
- A course which aims to “link academically gifted and highly motivated students with tutors who can teach them the art of research and writing”.
- Attended classes and researched a topic of my choice – Symmetry in particle physics and astrophysics.
- Summarised research to create a simplified poster and presented it to classmates.
- Represented my secondary school for:
- Regional maths quiz – top 5 from each class qualify
- Regional science quiz
- First place (€50) – General Knowledge Quiz – Youth Works
- Third place – Regional Maths Quiz – represented my primary school, team based on highest maths assessment scores
